Hardwood Floor Cleaning in Paradise, TX
Two weeks in late summer, the kitchen floor takes more punishment than the rest of the year combined, and it is not from cooking dinner.

A pressure canner is worse in one respect, because venting it puts a jet of steam out at counter height that condenses on everything below it, including three feet of floor nobody thinks to check.
What Fruit and Brine Do
Vinegar is acidic and it will dull a floor finish with repeated exposure. Fruit juice is acidic and sugary at once, so it etches slightly and then goes tacky. Beet and berry juice stains anything porous, which includes any spot where the finish is already thin. None of these are catastrophic and all of them are worse when nobody has time to wipe because there is a jar timer running.
Practical Steps for Those Two Weeks
A runner or a couple of old towels down for the duration, changed daily. Something waterproof under the canner station. And a rule that spills get blotted immediately even if that means stopping, because a spill that sits for six hours is a different problem from one that sits for six seconds. Then clean the floor properly once the season closes.

Is the humidity itself a problem for the floor?
Not over two weeks, no. Wood responds to sustained conditions over weeks and months. Two weeks of high humidity in a kitchen might swell the seams slightly and it settles back.
There is a purple stain from blackberries. Will it come out?
If the finish was intact when it landed, almost certainly, because the pigment is sitting on the coating. If it went into bare wood at a worn spot, that is a stain in the timber, and getting it out means sanding the board down, which is a refinishing job and not one we take on.
When should we book?
