What Actually Shortens the Two Years
Getting grass established, which is a landscaping problem and not a flooring one, and it is still the actual answer. In the meantime, gravel or stepping stones on the routes people use, a scraper mat outside every door, and shoes off inside. The garage door into the house matters as much as the front door and almost nobody puts a mat there.
